Hear from Executives and Directors on the top challenges and opportunities across their Project Offices. Determine key priorities and a vision for 2028 where those challenges are resolved and opportunities maximised — so Hive can point its support where it genuinely matters most.

Pre-work for participants

An email will be sent to participants before the session inviting them to consider the themes emerging from their strategy — particularly the challenges and opportunities that might be keeping their CEO up at night.

Welcome
  • Acknowledgement of Country & session intro (5 min)David
    David opens and frames the purpose of the two hours — what we want from the room and why it matters.

    The services the team delivers, and the work and impact most participants already know about.
  • True or False icebreaker (5 min)Reza
    Interesting facts most people don't know about the Hive — designed to spark curiosity about using the team in future (e.g. skills, achievements, surprising capabilities of HIVE).
    Method: Participants raise a small sign — True on one side, False on the other

✉️ Challenges & Opportunities
  • You've Got MailFisayo & Nick
    Each participant receives a letter from their CEO — who has been up all night — sharing three implications that have been on their mind.
    Delivery: Fisayo welcomes the group to the simulation, Nick hands each participant a sealed envelope containing a letter and 3 blank cards

    Inside the envelope

    Each sealed envelope contains: a printed CEO letter (personalised or generic), plus 3 blank cards for participants to write their challenges and/or opportunities.

    Facilitator note

    The voice over narrator sets the scene before participants open the envelope — building anticipation and grounding the activity in a shared fictional frame.

    Participants write the first three challenges and/or opportunities they expect would be in the letter from their CEO.

    Share: Facilitator invites each participant to share with the group

    Fisayo invites participants to select one challenge or opportunity to focus on for the purpose of the session:

    "Consider which one would benefit most from innovation, thinking differently, or additional support — it might be an initiative that is under-developed at this stage."

🔭 Vision 2028
  • Talking points for your CEOFisayo
    Participants hear a speech from their CEO in 2028 — when the challenge is resolved or the opportunity maximised. Their CEO references specific goals that have been achieved. Write down the key achievements that are referenced in their speech. Be as specific as you can.
  • Vision Gallery Walk — StationsFisayo, Nick & Hive team
    Each participant has their own station. Participants share their CEO's speech in small groups and support peers on what it would take to achieve that vision. Each participant does two rotations (three stations including their own).

    Each member writes down what they imagine the headline would read. Hugo turns this into a visual word collage on the screen, which will act as a backdrop to closing remarks.

    Thank the group, offer Hive support, and hint at what happens with the outputs from the day… "You will receive a surprise artefact."
  • After workshop activities
    Check in with participants and send them the News Press Release in 2028 after the participant's vision has become a reality.
